Speed Networking in Fermoy

Thursday evening the 3^rd May , at the Cork Marts Conference Centre in Corrin,  Fermoy business owners attended the North Cork Enterprise Board Speed Networking Event. The  event which included start-ups as well as established local businesses, across all sectors including:, architects,Auctioneers, retail, fashion, beauty, graphic design, tourism, and other local services.

This event was free and was organized and funded by the North Cork Enterprise Board, this is the second such event held by the NCEB this year and another one planned for the autumn in Mallow.

The keynote speaker at the event was Jerome O’Sullivan Manager Bank of Ireland Fermoy. Jerome  was very well received and spoke briefly on what was on offer from the Bank of Ireland and also emphasized that the Bank of Ireland are open for business.

The Event was facilitated by Fergal O’Connor and really put the attendees through their paces ensuring that they met at least 20 new potential clients.

Speaking at the event, Joan Kelleher Business Development Executive with the North Cork Enterprise Board commented: “Networking presents you with the opportunity to develop your business contacts in a fun and focussed way. Networking needs to be a key element of every small business.
