Understanding the Tendering Process
The purchasing organisation
- What are they looking for?
- How do they operate?
The selection / short listing process
- What is or is not allowed in the short listing / selection process?
Outcomes / Objectives:
· Have a full understanding of the tendering process
· Know how they can utilise the tender process to develop their client base and increase revenue
· Have an increased understanding of the motivations, requirements and methodologies of the tendering company
· Know how to increase their chances of being short listed and what to do at a short listing interview / presentation
· Be aware of the potential issues and pitfalls in submitting tenders, as well as how to avoid / overcome them
