Small Exporters Scheme 2009

The Board operates a scheme to assist companies with the development of new export markets. The Board can make provision of up to €2,000 financial assistance or 50%, which-ever is lesser, to eligible applications, to assist companies to develop markets abroad.

• The Scheme is open to manufacturing and internationally traded services businesses operating in North Cork or those client businesses of the Board. (i.e. those businesses previously grant assisted by the Board employing less than 10 employees.)
• Financial support will not be provided retrospectively and expenditure incurred prior to the date of approval is ineligible for grant aid purposes. The qualifying expenditure is net of VAT.
• The scheme officially closes on 21st November 2009 and the final date for draw down of financial assistance is 28th November 2009.
• All applications for financial assistance must be accompanied by a completed application form, any relevant quotations and a summary of proposed costs.
